Lazy Saturday

Hey Beauties!

I was lazy yesterday, so here are days 4 and 5 of  my 30 day challenge :). I also now have almost completely lost my voice, and feel so awful I think I'm going to go back to bed asap. There go tonight's bonfire plans! Hope you all have a good weekend though :)

Day 04 - A picture of somewhere you've been to

This is the gorgeous island of Sipadan, off Borneo. I went to Mabul, the next island along a few Christmases ago to visit my brother when he was working there, and we went to Sipadan on Christmas Day. It was amazing. There are so many turtles, the water is so clear and there's so much beautiful coral. In the picture, the bit where the water changes colour is the drop-off point, where there's a cliff that drops down about 2,000ft! You don't want to dive quite that far...

Day 05 - Favourite Superhero and why

I really don't know! I guess Wonder Woman, purely for her MAC collaboration ;)?! Ooooh, and having just googled it, I see Christina Hendricks is going to be in the film in 2015. I can really see that, she definitely has the figure to pull the costume off! Other than that, maybe Catwoman? There's jsut something about all that black leather!

Day 4 Quickie

Day 04 - A habit that you wish you didn't have

Opening my mouth without thinking! It's truly awful; recently I have told a colleague "I thought you were gay". He wasn't. I also said to a guy in my history and psychology classes "you look drugged up"... ooops! They are both perfectly lovely men (that's why I thought he was gay: lovely, primary assistant etc.), but anyway, I SHOULDN'T HAVE SAID A THING IN THE FIRST PLACE! Maybe by seeing that in writing I'll manage to knock some sense into my head. Is that just wishful thinking?

Old Friends and Bittersweet Memories

Just another quick one, 3rd day of the challenge...

 Day 03 - A picture of you and your friends

This is actually really hard for me, because the last proper group of friends I had was when I was at school. I had to leave early due to illness, and lost touch with most of them; which after being so close was horrible. This is a picture of all of us girls in the house before Christmas House Supper in Upper 6th, which was in 2008 (eeek! so long ago).

Happily, now I'm at college, I'm getting some sort of social life again, so next time I do a post like this hopefully I'll have some more current photos.

Short and snappy

Day 02 - The meaning behind your blog name

My blog is named for my alarming tendency to be so easily distracted, by anything even remotely nice to look at! This does include men... I'm a shameless lech :p. My site name, on the other hand, is simply named after me - my first name, followed by my middle and surname initials (M) with a few extra tacked on the end for good luck.

On another note, I am pleased to say I recently bought some nail art design wheels, so I can soon show off all the lovely polishes I have (that will be a loooong post). I am also planning some reviews of my recently purchased products, and maybe a mini-giveaway to celebrate my blog's 1 week birthday?

Would love to hear your thoughts on that.
